RSS Feed Posting
RSS feed posting has failed me. I guess it’s not going to take my Lurk365 feed so I’m just going to scrap that and post here on occasion.

This was taken at 2am because I couldn’t sleep. It ended up as the picture I liked the most out of all the ones taken today.
Today actually ended up as an Apple Computer day. I went to South Coast Plaza (again) with my friend and my brother to get a case for the MacBook Pro she bought a couple days earlier.
Apple released brand new MacBook Pros this morning. They’re a pretty decent jump in technology and they have Intel’s new Light Peak IO technology. It’s implemented into Apple’s new MacBook Pros as “Thunderbolt IO” and is integrated with the mini display port.
I went to South Coast Plaza in the evening with a couple friends to check out Apple’s laptops at the Apple store. To our surprise they carried the laptops that were just released hours earlier in the morning. She got the laptop and we were on our way.
Original plan was cancelled today (not to my surprise). I had Starbucks and caught up with yet another old friend of mine.
I also started my big server project today and updated my Lurk.cc site. You can follow my server project through my tech blog located here – http://lurk.cc/blog/
Busy and adventurous day! Started off with work way early in the morning then a meeting at Starbucks with a friend of mine, McGyver, to discuss an idea. Met someone random there for a photo; her name was Michelle. Afterwards I had class and then went off to Chapman University to meet up with Eva and her friends for an informational presentation.
Right before I left, I took a glance at my surroundings and decided to stay a little bit – amazing photo spot here!
When I got home, I got invited for boba by Mary. Ended up going on a mini adventure for about an hour. Twas a fun day.
Here we go again! Same post as I made last year! Hah! sorta.
About: http://lurkk.tumblr.com/about
Anyway, I created a dedicated about page here, which is basically the same as I have everywhere else. It’s an entirely new and updated one in contrast to my first post here from last year.
And… contact links and sites are generally the same except I shut down the sites I linked in the first post.

There’s quite a bit of things I really like about tumblr. It’s simple in design and provides an excellent functionality and blogging platform. If it were a standalone web script I’d download (or even purchase it) to run on my own server.
One of the big pluses of tumblr is the community and social networking aspect and the featureset it brings with it. I mean sure I could easily use the Facebook connect or Open ID APIs to integrate a global login system with my own sites but the amount of work and authentication it would take isn’t worth the effort at this time. It’s also an additional step for users to interact with my sites and that alone tends to discourage such activity. I mean really, how many of you actually authenticate your accounts on other websites with FBC connectivity?
Anyway, I’ll make an occasional post here on Tumblr. I’m working on linking and synchronizing my other websites here. Hopefully it’ll somewhat make use of the superb social network tumblr has to offer.
